About Us, The History of Salute, Inc.
SALUTE, Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Arlington Heights, Illinois, whose goal is to increase awareness of issues and challenges facing both active and veteran U.S. military personnel who are Illinois residents and their families. SALUTE, Inc. provides direct assistance and support to :
- Eligible service personnel injured during their service,
- Families who have lost a loved-one in a current conflict, and
- Eligible service personnel or their families who have experienced financial hardship due to deployment.
Additionally, SALUTE, Inc. provides direct support to Illinois veteran’s homes and hospitals for those who served in past conflicts.
It is truly our mission to "HONOR THE SERVICE AND REMEMBER THE SACRIFICE" of the men, women and families of our U.S. military personnel.
