SALUTE's Programs in action - Supporting our Veterans

Ron White(left), VP of SALUTE's Forgotten Veteran's Program, and Mr. Kristan of Mundelein Illinois, present a check for $2110 dollars to Mr. Kenneth List of North Chicago's VA Community Affairs for North Chicago's recreation therapy general fund. The funds were donated to SALUTE by friends and family at Mr. Kristan's 80th birthday party in November 2005.

 

Will Beiersdorf, President and co-founder of SALUTE, Inc., presents a check for $500 dollars to the Hospice Foundation of Northeastern Illinois President/CEO Carolyn M. Handler, for their veterans hospice program. The funds were raised from the Knights of Columbus Holy Rosary Council #4483 Victory bracelets campaign.

 

Will Beiersdorf Jr. carries new laptops to the car to be delivered to Brian Anderson(Rolling Meadows) and Victor Rojas(Aurora), who are wounded Iraq War veterans.

 

Wounded Iraq veteran Victor Rojas shows off his Army Class A uniform, medals, and his new laptop donated from SALUTE's Wounded Warrior Laptop Program. Victor will use this laptop for his college studies. Thanks for your service and sacrifice Victor!

 

SALUTE's Veterans' Day Remembrance - November 10, 2005 in Arlington Heights, IL

SALUTE, Inc., sponsored a Veterans Day Remebrance at St. James School in Arlington Heights on November 10, 2005.Veterans (from left to right) Gabe Garriga (Iraqi Freedom), Joe Spendoria (Korean War), and Jack Amato (WWII) were honored in a special ceremony hosted by SALUTE's Chris Schwarz (far right).

 

The Knights of Columbus Holy Rosary Council #4483, represented by Rob Adams (left) and Tony Beaudette (center), presented SALUTE's President, Will Beiersdorf (right), with a check for $5000. The money was raised by selling Victory wristbands.

 

 

 

 

SALUTE's Second Annual 5K / 10K Run and Family Walk - May 28, 2005 in Arlington Heights, Illinois
